5cc Flat Walled Syringe Barrel Piston

ADL precision components provide safe and leak free fluid dispensing from syringe barrels. These pistons have flat sides with no wiper blades and are designed for use with stringy and viscous pastes and gels.

Pistons ensure that the pressure is evenly spread across the fluid surface to provide consistent dispensing. Wiper seal pistons prevent dripping and eliminate material waste by wiping the syringe barrel wall clean as fluid is dispensed. Maximum operating pressure is 100psi (6.9bar). Straight Wall Pistons (red) are recommended for reduced stringing and "bouncing" with high viscosity products. Supplied in sealed packs of 40 or bulk packs of 1000.

Adhesive Dispensing Ltd provide a wide range of equipment options for dispensing almost all assembly fluids - from watery liquids, solvents, primers and activators through to thick pastes, sealants, silicones, gels and epoxies.

  Further Information

Pistons are made of plastic to wipe the adhesive, paste or liquid from inside the syringe barrel as they move down. Once a syringe has liquid inside, insert the piston and push down on one side. This will allow air to escape and ensures the piston sits directly on the fluid without an air gap. When bottom filling using a barrel filler, the piston is pushed down and moves up as the liquid is fed into the syringe barrel.
